BILLERICA -- March 25, 2026, Billerica's 250th Anniversary Committee moved closer to finalizing commemorative merchandise and event logistics for its July 2 celebration. At the March 25 meeting, members reached informal consensus on four merchandise items, 150 challenge coins, 500 coloring books, 100 pairs of socks, and 48 green-and-white umbrellas, to be formally priced and voted on at a future meeting; a vendor identified as Steve was asked to submit pricing by email. The committee confirmed its cash calendar fundraiser will begin distribution April 1 at one for $10 or three for $20, with daily prizes through May. Member Isaac reported the 250th commemorative book manuscript is complete and will be distributed to all committee members for review, with Sign Effects identified as a potential printer.
