Billerica 250th Committee Approves $25,000 Fireworks Show for July 2026

BILLERICA — August 27, 2025 — Billerica's 250th Anniversary Committee approved a $25,000 fireworks display for July 2, 2026, in what would be the town's first-ever Fourth of July fireworks celebration. The committee voted unanimously to move forward with reserving a fireworks company, with July 7 as a rain date, and discussed siting the event at Marsh Middle School with daytime festivities potentially at Veterans Field — mirroring the existing Yankee Doodle footprint.
