Billerica Board of Assessors Enters Executive Session on Tax and Abatement Matters

BILLERICA — January 28, 2025 — Billerica Board of Assessors approves December minutes and moves immediately to executive session. The board held one of its shortest public sessions on January 28, convening with only two of three members present — Chief Assessor John Spidell and Associate Assessor Rich Scanlon, who joined by phone; member Rick Ladd was absent. The board approved both the regular and executive session minutes from its December 18, 2024, meeting without discussion or corrections. No residents appeared for public comment. The board then voted 2-0 on a roll-call vote to enter executive session to discuss Appellate Tax Board cases, exemptions, abatements, and overtime.
