Library books Eric Fisher for July 21 weather talk

BILLERICA — The Billerica Public Library rolled out a run of summer programming this week, headlined by a July 21 talk from meteorologist Eric Fisher and continuing offerings for job seekers and families through the end of the month.

The library announced that meteorologist Eric Fisher will give a talk on weather and climate on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m.; registration is open on the library's website. The library is also hosting its "Summer Reading for All Ages" challenge, which began Monday, June 22, and continues through the summer for adult patrons.

Family Friends of the Library, the library's volunteer support group, has scheduled an ice cream social for Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m., and is separately selling "Family Friends Bags" for $10 each at the circulation desk while supplies last.

COMING UP

The MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center will hold its weekly walk-in session Monday, July 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the parking lot behind the library.
