Com of Disabilities Pt. 1 · Meeting of September 17, 2026

BILLERICA — The Billerica Commission for Disabilities approved its August 26 minutes 3-0 with two abstentions and opened talks on filling vacant leadership posts. Secretary Maria reported the commission holds $24,159 in its account, and member Lauren said she was "willing to take that vice chair role unless Jacqueline or Chris really want it," though she indicated she may instead take the chairman's post and "work closely with Jason" due to school commitments. Member Jacqueline said of the vacant treasurer post, "I'm actually not familiar with what the roles would entail." Members identified Anne Marie Casey as the Town Hall contact who can confirm the account balance.

No officer votes were finalized, and members agreed to discuss a possible scholarship using the $24,159 balance at a future meeting.
