BILLERICA -- June 15, 2026, The Billerica Select Board voted 3-2 to raise water and sewer rates for fiscal 2027, with Members Dina Favreau and Michael Rosa opposed, and voted unanimously to keep the Town Common bandstand as an ornamental historic feature. The board also voted 3-1-1 to begin a formal evaluation of the Technology Park Drive corridor and authorize the town manager to hire an independent advisor, waived building-permit fees for 23 Esquire Road and approved a cooling-center directive for heat emergencies. The meeting began with an hour-long executive session on pending litigation, a personnel contract and potential litigation over a contractual dispute with legal counsel.
