Billerica MP Oversight Committee Meeting Collapses Before It Can Formally Begin

BILLERICA — November 5, 2025 — Billerica MP Oversight Committee fails to convene after a Zoom account conflict prevents members from joining the November 5 session. The roughly six-minute recording captured entirely pre-meeting troubleshooting, with staff unable to resolve a conflict in which a second committee had initiated a separate meeting on the same shared town Zoom account, locking out expected participants including a member identified as Robert and minutes-taker Joyce McMillan. "There's no meeting right now. There's no forum," an unidentified staff member said near the end of the recording, instructing those present to pause the recording until a quorum could assemble. No agenda items were called, no motions were made, and no votes were taken. A participant indicated the committee had been notified there were no projects on the agenda and that the meeting would likely be postponed to the following month.
