Billerica Library Launches Summer Reading and Museum Lecture Series

Summer programming is underway at the Billerica Public Library, with a public lecture on Massachusetts museums set for Thursday evening and the annual all-ages Summer Reading Challenge now in its first full week.

The Billerica Public Library kicks off a busy stretch of summer programming this week. On Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m., the library hosts a talk titled "Best Small Museums in Massachusetts" — registration is open on the library's website for those who want a seat. The event is free and open to the public at 15 Concord Road.

Summer Reading kicked off Monday, June 22, with separate challenges running for children, teens, and adults. Participants can sign up through the library's catalog or in person at the circulation desk.

Through the end of June, the Family Friends of the Library is also running a Paperback Beach Pick buy-one-get-one sale, and Friends bags are available for $10 each at the circulation desk while supplies last.
